Who am I?

I am a 14 2 Gypsy Gelding and I've moved from the Scottish stud farm to live in Fermangh (Northern Ireland) with some new animal friends.

We are all cared for by some Two-legs. These are the people we love and who love us back...with hay and apples...and carrots...and grapes...and mints!

Pilfering Dogs and Warhorse

There are two big black labradors staying here for a while. A “small while”, I am assured. (Thank Pegasus!).

Proof of Carrot Theft
Let me introduce Dumb and Dumber; well that's what I call them. Too bouncy, too barky and too interested in eating my carrots! I've never met a dog before who eats raw carrots and I'm not too keen on meeting any more veggie loving dogs. Where would a poor pony be without a few carrots to look forward to in his evening feed? There are few enough carrots in this place without some dog waltzing in and diminishing one's meagre ration.

The Farrier was here yesterday trimming my hooves and providing me with a grand pair of shoes to traipse the roads. I'm being slowly reintroduced to the “big road”: The big road with all the huffing and puffing lorries and fast, rude cars.

Wanted: Dumb (AKA Milo) Carrot Pilfering
No doubt I'll be expected to be brave and soldier on. I know the rules: Listen to Two-legs and keep to the side of the road. I think that I would make a good soldier. I am brave. I am faithful. I am a follower. I can lead out in front when asked and I am calm; even when all around me those mad dogs are stealing my carrots and barking (at the very spooky cats). An army marches on its' stomach, which means I'd be well fed and watered. Perhaps I shall leave semi-retirement and join the Household Calvary. Perhaps not. I will leave that to Joey; the Warhorse. He's a fine animal. It's a fine story and Two-legs is in a fine looking mess reading it.
