Who am I?

I am a 14 2 Gypsy Gelding and I've moved from the Scottish stud farm to live in Fermangh (Northern Ireland) with some new animal friends.

We are all cared for by some Two-legs. These are the people we love and who love us back...with hay and apples...and carrots...and grapes...and mints!

New things and Improvements

Flint wondering if this is his new stable
The long road ahead
Trot on Stinky Ben!
Well, quite a lot has happened during these last few days. Glory-be and Melody have gone off on their holidays, for no-grass (winter) to “winter in”. They've told me that they both hope to lose a few pounds while they're away. Between you and me they need to lose a few stone. Not that I have any room to talk! I'm not as broad as I once was, but even I must admit there is still room for improvement. The gentle exercise over the green-grass (summer) has worked a treat for me and even my hacking companion, Stinky Ben, has noticed a difference in his dimensions.

On one of the very scarce days that it wasn't raining in Fermanagh Two-legs brought me in to “fit me out” in my nice new shiny red rain-coat. I looked at her as if she were mad. “But it's dry and it's roasting! 15 degrees for goodness sake!” not that Two-legs was listening. She was just impressed by the fact that I actually fitted into my new coat. “Of-course it fits! You've had me and that poor dog traipse the roads all summer long in the wind and the rain!” I had to mollify myself by munching on the nice new haylage that was brought in a nice new shiny green hay net.

There's a nice new stable being built, but I see that they've been using my nice new pink water bucket for their cement...not at all impressed. It's well seeing that they don't intend to drink from it later! Humph!
